Details: Laptop with Windows 10. I mostly use my laptop at home as a desktop. But sometimes my work will require me to take it to office/field. I have \’User must enter password to use computer\’ disabled. The default lock setting requires you to input a password/pin every time you turn on your computer, something which is quite annoying and keep it disabled for this reason. But I would like to lock my PC on some occasions especially when i take my laptop out. I assumed pressing the \’Windows key + L\’ would lock my computer indefinitely. But restarting the computer skips the lock screen and logs straight into windows. Is this a glitch? A fault? Is there a work around? Any way to lock the PC on the go?
